As the plants start their fading away process something very different is usually going on in the minds of women entrepreneurs! You are not fading away.

It’s a time of changes. As one season moves out another season moves in. One door closes, another door opens.

For many of you it’s time to look at your business with a new light or a new energy. It’s time to look ahead and begin planning how you want your business to look, and how you want your life to look. Those two go hand in hand, remember.

It’s time to start thinking about what you want your business and life to look like in 2011. That may seem like light years away but it’s really just around the corner!

These Tips are for you whether you already have a coaching business going, you are simply in ‘start up mode’ or you are even just thinking about starting your business.

Tip 1: Keep it simple and elegant. A business plan does not have to be a bazillion pages long nor does it need all of the details spelled out. Approach it from the standpoint of who you are and what you love to do. Lead with a sense of inspiration and creativity. Once you are clear about who you are called to work with then you can design your business model including programs, products and services from there. Write down a list of the programs, products or services you think you would like to offer your clients. Of course, you are also keeping in mind how to fit this business around your lifestyle. No business success is worth losing your lifestyle over.

Tip 2: Putting your ideas into action. Now that you have written down the different parts you would like in your business, let’s set up a time frame. Look at each month of the year and make decisions where each one fits in. Don’t be surprised if you have more ideas than you do time. This happens to me all the time. I encourage you to dream big but to also be realistic. There are only so many hours in your day or week or month.

Tip 3: Make an income statement for 2011. I want you to think big here, or think high numbers. Look at your income from this year and make the number substantially higher for next year. Sound scary? Does it feel that you just can’t do that? If so, I suspect you are coming from a place of fear or of scarcity. There is no reason for your income to remain the same as this year. You have more experience, you know more and you deserve to have your income show that. Make a Bold Money statement and say it out loud! You must stretch that money muscle! Look back at the first two tips. Now, go plan these programs, products and services in a manner that will produce your Bold Money statement.

I know this may sound simplistic, but I also know that so many times you make it harder than it needs to be. I can honestly say I am guilty of that one also.

Dream about how you see your business, put it on paper, put it on the calendar for each program, product or service and make a plan for you how will increase you income substantially from this year to the next. The sky is the limit ladies!
